Community Engagement

Exploring for copper and critical metals makes stakeholder engagement crucial. That is why we dedicate our efforts, from initial exploration to production, into upholding an active dialogue with local stakeholders, landowners and land users.

Our community engagement includes regulated dialogues in connection with permitting processes, as well as upholding on-going communication with local stakeholders. Our dialogues cover areas of concern such as on-going and planned activities that might affect local communities. Our approach is to actively engage in an open and transparent manner, always making sure that our stakeholders are well informed and have the means to raise any issues of concern promptly.

Our commitment to the community is always a balanced and constructive dialogue. We engage in early-stage dialogue, to identify sustainable solutions that balance environmental, societal and business interests across the Nordic regions of Finland, Norway and Sweden, with a particular focus on Sweden’s Dalsland region. We strongly believe that close collaboration between the mining industry and surrounding communities leads to mutual benefits. By supporting each other, both can achieve growth and prosperity. When community questions arise, we strive to answer, listen and identify solutions, with our stakeholders.
